Mr and Mrs Jeff Whittaker built the Pont Rose Boarding Kennels in 1962, running the kennels for many years before handing them over to a lady named Pat Chapman. A gentleman called Dick Turpin then took over the kennels and during his time he extended them to house further runs and sleeping areas. A lady employed by Dick Turpin then took over from him and ran the kennels for several years before retiring in 2003. In the July of 2003 the kennels were renamed Pont Du Val Dog Kennels Limited and was taken over by another of Dick Turpin's employees, Dianne Du Bois, with Marie Morrin and Betty Rhodes. We are now a family run business, with the help of Louise, who has several years experience with dogs at our kennels, our younger helper James Morrin, and our caretaker Peter.
